Identity and campaign

GBTwente

Municipal Tax Office Twente was created in 2009 as a collaboration in the field of levying and collecting municipal taxes between three Twente municipalities; Enschede, Hengelo and Borne. By bundling knowledge were able to work more efficiently, but the municipality itself remained the sender of the annual assessment.

This changed in 2018. Municipal Tax Office Twente, until then a back office organization, became visible to residents. But, logically, they were not equipped for that at all. With a new name, a new identity and a brand strategy as the foundation, the GBTwente brand took shape and content.

GBTwente now determines the WOZ value for 10 municipalities and handles the process of levying and collecting municipal taxes. The newly affiliated municipalities not only handed over the process to GBTwente but also their tax experts.

Thus, the employees got a new employer. This had a significant impact on GBTwente’s corporate culture. Together with GBTwente, we organized an internal campaign that brought the “we” feeling back into the organization.

We introduced a new name on a new building in a new house style in the year GBTwente celebrated its 10th anniversary. We couldn’t think of a fresher start to the second lustrum!
